About the Role

Apple is seeking Remote Product Testers and User Experience Researchers to evaluate pre-release Apple hardware, software, and services before they reach the public. In this unique home-based role, you will receive access to unreleased Apple products, test them against structured evaluation protocols, document your findings, and provide the detailed user feedback that Apple's engineering and design teams use to make products better before launch day.

This is not a survey job — it is structured product evaluation work that requires systematic testing, careful observation, and articulate written reporting. Apple values the perspectives of real users who represent its diverse global customer base. If you have a sharp eye for detail, genuine curiosity about how products work, and a deep love of Apple, this remote role gives you a rare behind-the-scenes window into the Apple product development process.

What You Will Do

  • Receive pre-release Apple hardware and software products and conduct structured evaluation testing following provided test scripts
  • Document software bugs, hardware issues, usability friction points, and performance anomalies in Apple's internal testing platform
  • Record video or written walkthroughs of your product experience for Apple design and engineering team review
  • Complete required numbers of test scenarios per session and submit evaluation reports within assigned deadlines
  • Participate in follow-up remote interview sessions or feedback calls with Apple product research team members as requested
  • Maintain strict confidentiality about all unreleased product details — NDA compliance is mandatory for this role

Requirements

  • Must be a regular user of Apple products — iPhone, Mac, or iPad with genuine familiarity of the ecosystem
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify, document, and articulate product issues clearly in writing
  • Comfortable following detailed technical test protocols independently without step-by-step supervision
  • Excellent written communication — clear, specific, and structured bug reports and evaluation summaries
  • Reliable home internet connection and a device capable of running the Apple beta evaluation platform
  • Signed NDA required before receiving any pre-release product — strict confidentiality is non-negotiable

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay: $15.00 to $21.00 per hour or equivalent per-project flat rate depending on engagement type
  • Part-time project-based remote schedule — work at home on your own time within project deadlines
  • First access to unreleased Apple products and an insider view of the Apple development process
  • Apple employee product discount on personal hardware and software purchases
  • Opportunity to participate in multiple Apple product evaluation cycles throughout the year
  • Strong performers may be offered extended evaluation contracts or referrals to full-time Apple roles
