Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Overview of the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join the housekeeping team at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio property in Bayan Lepas, Penang. As a full-time team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained throughout our prestigious hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing and overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department
• Develop, implement and monitor cleaning procedures and standards to maintain exceptional levels of cleanliness throughout the hotel
• Oversee the work of the housekeeping team, providing training, support and feedback to ensure excellent service delivery
• Manage inventory and order all necessary cleaning supplies, linens and other housekeeping equipment
• Conduct quality inspections and address any housekeeping issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping and budgeting

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar assistant housekeeping or supervisory role within the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate the housekeeping team
• Proficient in the use of housekeeping-related technology and software
• A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
