We are hiring a full-time Remote Data Entry Operator to enter, update, and maintain data in company databases and spreadsheets from home. This is a straightforward and accessible entry-level opportunity for anyone with good typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the self-discipline to work independently from home. Remote Data Entry Operators play a critical behind-the-scenes role in keeping business systems accurate and operational. The work you do directly affects billing accuracy, customer records, inventory management, and reporting quality. What You Will Do
Enter data from multiple source formats — digital PDFs, scanned documents, email attachments, and spreadsheets — into company databases
Maintain and update existing records with new information, corrections, and status changes as directed by team leads
Verify entered data for spelling errors, missing fields, formatting inconsistencies, and factual accuracy before final submission
Organize and label completed digital files within the company document management and cloud storage system
Generate basic daily and weekly data entry output reports and submit to your remote team lead on schedule
Communicate task questions and data discrepancies to your coordinator promptly to prevent downstream errors
Requirements
High school diploma or GED — no prior professional experience required for entry-level candidates
Typing speed of 40 or more words per minute with a consistent accuracy rate of 95% or higher
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets — data sorting, filtering, and simple formula use
Strong attention to detail — able to identify and catch errors in large volumes of data entries
Reliable personal laptop or desktop computer and a stable home broadband internet connection
Self-disciplined, punctual, and able to manage your own productivity schedule without direct supervision
Pay and Benefits
Pay: $14.00 to $18.00 per hour — increases available after 90-day performance review
