Schneider Electric is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer – Entry Level to join our engineering and innovation team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are enthusiastic about designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems that support sustainable energy solutions. You will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design electrical components, improve energy efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of electrical systems and components for industrial and commercial applications.
Develop detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and layout plans using CAD software.
Support product development teams with prototype building, validation, and performance testing.
Conduct research on emerging technologies to enhance design efficiency and sustainability.
Participate in electrical load calculations, circuit design, and fault analysis.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices (IEC, NEC, etc.).
Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other technical teams to deliver projects on schedule.
Provide technical documentation, reports, and support during project reviews and audits.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during development and implementation phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuit design, and power systems.
Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar software.
Basic knowledge of PLCs, drives, and control systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in electrical design or related fields.
Internship or academic project experience in energy systems, electrical circuits, or automation will be an advantage.
Working Hours
Full-time position (40 hours per week).
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
