Experienced Accountant for Bookkeeping Cleanup & Reconciliation

We are seeking an experienced accountant/bookkeeper to review, clean up, and update our accounting records comprehensively.The project includes reviewing historical bookkeeping, reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts, correcting accounting classifications, reviewing customer and vendor balances, and preparing accurate financial reports.The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge and experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, TallyPrime, Zoho Books, Waves ERP, or similar platforms.Responsibilities include bank and credit card reconciliation, accounts receivable and payable review, general ledger and journal entries management, financial statement preparation, and establishing month-end closing processes.Deliverables include cleaned accounting records, reconciliations, updated financial statements, and a month-end closing checklist/process.Preferred qualifications include CA/CPA/ACCA or qualified accountant with strong Excel skills and the ability to independently identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
