We develop learning apps. Our Together We Learn family literacy app is in English and we need to create a Hindi language version. We need a few people to proofread the Hindi version.

The candidates will proofread within our proprietary authoring application (the Make App). We do not need the proofreader to do much translating. We have integrated Google Translate into our Make App and you will use that to create a first draft in Hindi. You will need Internet access and we will provide detailed instructions in English. This is proofreading, not translation, but you, will need to understand enough English that we (you and I) can communicate with each other about the task. There may be (a few) times when the Hind makes no sense and you will need to check the Hindi against the English original text, which you can do in the Make App, and provide a better translation.

Once the proofreading is done, you will use text-to-speech technology integrated into the Make App to create audio files. We estimate the task will take between 100-150 hours and we will hire two or three proofreaders. We will start this week and need everything finished within two weeks.
