About JetBlue

JetBlue Airways has been built on a simple but powerful idea — that air travel should feel human. Since our first flight in 2000, we have grown into one of America's most-loved airlines, serving over 100 destinations and earning a reputation for customer care that genuinely stands apart. Our remote Customer Service team carries that reputation forward, and we invest in every agent through fully paid, structured training so you can perform at your best from day one.

The Role

The Remote Customer Service Representative role is an entry-accessible position that comes with a comprehensive paid training program. You will learn JetBlue's reservation systems, policies, and service philosophy through a multi-week virtual onboarding curriculum before taking live calls. This role is ideal for candidates transitioning from other service industries or entering the airline sector for the first time — your attitude and aptitude matter more than your resume.

What You'll Do

  • Complete JetBlue's fully paid virtual training and earn certification before handling live customer calls
  • Handle inbound calls from JetBlue passengers with booking inquiries, flight changes, and travel questions
  • Use JetBlue's reservation and CRM systems to process modifications, refunds, and travel credits
  • Assist customers impacted by delays or cancellations with rebooking and compensation options
  • Deliver a warm, professional caller experience that reflects JetBlue's culture of care on every interaction
  • Participate in ongoing coaching sessions and quality calibration calls with your team lead

Who You Are

  • High school diploma or GED required — no prior airline experience necessary
  • 1+ year of customer-facing experience in any industry (retail, hospitality, call center)
  • Fast learner with the ability to absorb new systems and apply policies during training
  • Calm, empathetic communicator who can handle difficult conversations professionally
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable home office with wired high-speed internet and a USB headset

JetBlue Benefits

  • Fully paid training — you are compensated from the first day of onboarding
  • Competitive hourly pay with structured performance-based raises
  • Flight benefits — fly JetBlue routes for free or at crew-rate fares for you and your household
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with company-subsidized premiums
  • 401(k) retirement plan with JetBlue employer match
  • Paid time off and internal promotion pathway to senior agent and team lead roles
