The Opportunity
As an Early Career Technologist, you will help design, develop, and support software applications and platforms that assist people in building a more confident future. The role is suited for recent graduates and early-career technologists interested in creating scalable, secure, and intelligent software solutions.
You will work within a collaborative and agile environment while gaining exposure to modern software engineering practices and AI-enabled technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with gathering and refining product requirements and user stories.
Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of full stack applications across UI, APIs, and data layers while using AI tools.
Participate in peer reviews for code, solution design, and configuration changes.
Help analyze and resolve production incidents and service requests.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement effective solutions.
Contribute to integrating AI capabilities into applications, including GenAI APIs and machine learning models.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related field.
Internship or academic project exposure in software development or AI/ML.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical skills through academic or project experience.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or COBOL.
Basic understanding of software design principles and coding best practices.
Familiarity with database concepts, design, and development.
Exposure to cloud-native platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Basic understanding of secure coding techniques and automated testing.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Azure DevOps, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Exposure to AI and ML concepts including prompt engineering and LLM APIs such as Azure OpenAI.
Experience with AI frameworks and SDKs such as LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, or Semantic Kernel.
Understanding of responsive UI/UX development.
Knowledge of microservices and monolithic architecture patterns.
Awareness of containerization technologies.
Understanding of relational and NoSQL database systems.
