Job Summary Serve as a Property Maintenance and Repair Technician. Provide basic general maintenance and repair functions, under the supervision and guidance of experienced maintenance personnel, for our Homeless Resource Center programs. Position Status Full-Time

Shift Monday - Friday, 40 Hours

Pay Grade and Starting Rate Grade 6, $18.90/hour

FLSA Status Non-Exempt Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform general maintenance, repairs, and minor construction work for Permanent Supportive Housing properties. This may include, but is not limited to: Electrical Mechanical Plumbing Carpentry Masonry Landscaping Painting General custodial tasks such as trash removal and cleaning units Assist the maintenance team in developing and implementing a property-specific preventive maintenance program. Perform preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems, such as routine inspections, air filter cleaning/replacement, lubrication, system monitoring, component repair/replacement, and general upkeep.

Ensure compliance with public health, safety, and fire regulations; maintain all properties in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. Abide by and implement property security measures to protect individuals and facilities. Move, place, and install furniture, appliances, and other items as needed within units and common areas.

Perform transportation, delivery, pickup, loading/unloading, and installation of household items and appliances. Safely operate agency vehicles, including trucks and passenger vans, and perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs to keep vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order. Collaborate professionally with residents, coworkers, and contractors, maintaining a trauma-informed and respectful approach in all interactions.

Attend mandatory agency trainings, including Trauma-Informed Care, Housing Focused services, De-escalation, Suicide Prevention, CPR, and more. Participate in emergency drills and environmental safety activities, as required. Follow all agency protocols for security, safety, and sanitation to maintain a clean and secure environment for residents, guests, and staff.
