Job Summary
Progressive Technology is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Payroll and HR Operations Officer to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring payroll accuracy, legal compliance, and efficient documentation management. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong grasp of Lebanese labor laws and a passion for creating seamless HR processes.
You will be the go-to person for all things related to payroll execution, statutory reporting, and employee records, contributing to a compliant and transparent HR environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with Lebanese labor regulations and internal policies.
Maintain up-to-date employee records including contracts, attendance, leaves, and benefits-related documentation.
Monitor and ensure accurate and timely filing of statutory deductions (NSSF, income tax, end-of-service indemnity, etc.).
Coordinate with finance to reconcile payroll-related payments and ensure alignment with budget allocations.
Support internal and external audits by providing required HR documents and reports.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners to ensure employee data consistency and integrity.
Implement improvements to HR operational procedures and contribute to policy updates.
Ensure data privacy and confidentiality standards are strictly maintained.
Liaise with governmental authorities and legal advisors for compliance-related matters.
Prepare HR reports and dashboards for internal management and external regulatory bodies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office (Excel is a must).
In-depth knowledge of Lebanese labor law, tax legislation, and NSSF regulations.
Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
High attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in payroll processing, HR compliance, or HR operations.
Experience working within HRIS platforms and payroll systems is preferred.
Prior involvement in audits or legal HR matters is a plus.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexibility may be required depending on operational needs)
Hybrid work environment with occasional office presence as necessary.
