Title: Programme Coordinator [Fashion Design / Fashion Marketing / Interior Design / Digital Media Design / Visual Communication / Games & Animation Design / Jewellery Design, Product Design]

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall academic and operational performance of the programme.
  • Work closely with Management and Admissions to achieve student enrolment targets.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Full-Time and Part-Time lecturers.
  • Develop and maintain programme curriculum, course outlines, and academic materials.
  • Plan and coordinate semester teaching schedules, including lecturer allocation, module assignments, class arrangements, and workload distribution to ensure effective academic delivery and optimal utilization of academic resources.
  • Ensure high standards of teaching quality, examinations, and academic delivery.
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and overall performance.
  • Handle student academic matters, counselling, complaints, and progression issues.
  • Liaise with parents, industry partners, and external stakeholders when required.
  • Teach a minimum of 18 hours per week, including lesson preparation, assessments, and grading.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling student matters.
  • Organize and support promotional activities, education fairs, exhibitions, and graduation events.
  • Coordinate industry collaborations, student projects, and internship placements.
  • Support student recruitment, retention, and departmental growth initiatives.
  • Plan and manage departmental training and staff development activities.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of programme facilities, equipment, software, and learning resources.
  • Uphold the professional image, operational stability, and academic standards of the College.

Requirements:

  1. A Master / PhD in [Fashion Design / Fashion Marketing / Interior Design / Digital Media Design / Visual Communication / Games & Animation Design / Jewellery Design, Product Design] or equivalent from a recognized academic institution.
  2. At least 10 years' industry experience with a credible portfolios / practices.
  3. At least 5 years lecturing experience in [Fashion Design / Fashion Marketing / Interior Design / Digital Media Design / Visual Communication / Games & Animation Design / Jewellery Design, Product Design] or any other relevant study areas.
  4. Can adapt to a multi-cultural setting with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to handle students of different nationalities.
  5. Able to lead a team of Full-time and Part-time lecturers.
