As a Quantity Surveyor at BUILTOP GROUP SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control and contract administration for projects located in Puchong, Selangor. This full-time position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic and growing construction company.
What you'll be doing
Prepare and analyse detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents
Negotiate and administer construction contracts, including handling variations and claims
Monitor and control project budgets, forecasting cash flows and expenditures
Measure and value work completed, certifying interim and final payments to contractors
Provide regular cost reports and variance analysis to project stakeholders
Assist with the preparation of tender submissions and bids
Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and standards
Collaborate with the project team to identify cost-saving opportunities
What we're looking for
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction management discipline
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
Excellent understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
Proficient in the use of construction software, such as cost estimation and project management tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards in Malaysia
