They are seeking an Apprentice Product Researcher to work with Product Researchers and teams on high-impact projects while using qualitative research methods to understand user needs.
Responsibilities
Work alongside other Pinterest Product Researchers and key partners on our Design, Product Management, and Engineering teams on a high-impact project
Use qualitative research methods, such as usability evaluations, individual interviews, and diary studies, to understand user needs and product opportunities
Collaborate with an assigned mentor who will help you navigate the expectations associated with being an Product Researcher at Pinterest
Leverage AI tools to optimize your workflow and to make cross-functional collaboration more productive and efficient
Continually grow through various learning and development opportunities
Skills
Professionals from non-tech backgrounds, including but not limited to: research bootcamp grads, candidates who are self-taught, and those who do not hold a related degree or professional experience in Product Research roles
Self-motivated and proactive professionals pursuing a career in the tech industry who are curious to learn what it's like to work and succeed as a Product Researcher at Pinterest
Has a learner and builder mindset: Able to quickly onboard to emerging AI tools and implement them appropriately in the full product development process with a focus on decision quality, craft and efficiency
Demonstrated knowledge of qualitative research methods
Apprentices are expected to work full-time during business hours. As such, students currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program are not eligible for this position
For this role, applicants must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
1+ years of experience working collaboratively and clearly communicating in a professional work environment
