Brightsmith is focused on renewable energy projects and is seeking a Manager, Project Finance to support financing strategies for utility-scale projects. This role involves project financing, financial analysis, and coordination with lenders and investors to ensure successful transaction execution. Responsibilities Support all aspects of project-level financing including debt, tax equity, and sponsor equity Develop pro formas for solar and storage projects with accompanying assumption support and document review Review financial models to analyze project feasibility and profitability, including go/no-go recommendations for projects with supporting analysis Assist in preparing due diligence materials, offering materials for debt and equity transactions, and documentation of structured or project finance transactions Prepare analyses and recommendations for monthly and quarterly investment reviews Support interactions with lenders and investors throughout transaction processes Prepare analysis and resulting reports to support business operations and strategic initiatives Assist with negotiating financing terms and documentation with banks, investors, and legal counsel Monitor market trends and maintain relationships with financial institutions and capital providers Support M&A activities and strategic financial planning for the renewable energy portfolio Collaborate cross-functionally with development, engineering, legal, and finance teams Support project timelines and transaction deliverables across multiple active projects Other duties as assigned Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Energy, or related field 5–8+ years of experience in project finance, capital markets, tax equity, investment banking, or related areas Experience supporting financing transactions and managing lender/investor relationships Strong financial modeling and analytical skills Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities Experience within the renewable energy industry, including solar and storage preferred Experience supporting strategic transactions, acquisitions, or portfolio planning is a plus Company Overview Brightsmith was founded in London in 2019 by Tommy Bright, Jenny Gladman, and Adam Smith, three people united by a clear mission to play an active role in building a cleaner, more sustainable world for their children.
