[Remote] Sr. Fund Accountant (Remote)

SpectrumCareers is a growing and highly respected investment management firm seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their finance team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work closely with fund leadership and play a key role in financial reporting and accounting operations for multiple investment vehicles. Responsibilities Maintain the general ledger and accounting records for multiple private investment funds Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP Calculate and review Net Asset Value (NAV) reporting and investor allocations Record investment activity, including purchases, sales, income, realized gains/losses, and fair value adjustments Prepare capital call, distribution, and waterfall calculations Coordinate quarterly closes and assist with year-end audit processes Work closely with third-party administrators, auditors, tax providers, and internal stakeholders Prepare and review investor reporting packages and supporting schedules Assist with cash management, reconciliations, and treasury-related activities Support the preparation of regulatory and compliance reporting as needed Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies Participate in special projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of accounting experience, including fund accounting, public accounting, private equity, hedge fund, real estate fund, venture capital, or investment management experience Strong understanding of investment accounting concepts and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills and experience with fund accounting systems Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience working with partnership accounting and investor allocations CPA designation or CPA track is highly preferred Company Overview Achieving your life vision begins with a relationship with us.
