Citrin Cooperman is seeking a skilled and client-focused Workiva Implementation Manager to join our growing Workiva Services team within the Digital and Cloud Services practice. This role is central to delivering high-impact financial reporting solutions using Workiva’s cloud-based platform, leading client engagements, overseeing project delivery, and managing a team of consultants to ensure quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of Workiva financial reporting implementation projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and quality standards
Manage and mentor Senior Consultants, Consultants, and offshore team members to ensure high-quality execution and professional development
Cultivate strong client relationships by leading strategic discussions, aligning on project goals, and ensuring solutions meet business and reporting objectives
Oversee solution design and configuration by guiding the team in translating business requirements into scalable, efficient Workiva implementations
Ensure delivery quality by establishing review protocols, validating data integrity, and overseeing testing outcomes to support accurate and reliable reporting
Monitor project progress, risks, and resource utilization to meet delivery and profitability goals
Collaborate with Directors for strategic oversight, escalation support, and alignment with broader practice goals
Contribute to the development of delivery methodologies, reusable assets, and internal training programs
Support pre-sales activities such as scoping and proposal development, as needed
Promote best practices in platform integration, automation, and financial reporting workflows
Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of experience implementing financial reporting systems within a professional services or consulting environment
2+ years of hands-on Workiva implementation experience
Experience managing project teams and client relationships
Strong understanding of financial reporting processes and automation
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and complex formulas
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead delivery teams and manage competing priorities
Workiva delivery certifications
Experience with ERP, GRC, or ESG platforms
Background in management consulting or public accounting
Experience with business process documentation and flowcharting
Project management experience
