We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer (GCP Specialist) to join an exciting project with a leading client in the banking sector. You will be part of an international environment focused on building and evolving a scalable cloud data platform.
Our goal is to deliver high-performance, maintainable, and cost-efficient data architectures that support advanced analytics and reporting use cases, leveraging modern technologies on Google Cloud Platform.
This is you
You have at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform in a data environment
Strong expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage
Experience with Cloud Composer or similar orchestration tools
Very good SQL skills and strong programming skills in Python (or alternatively Java/Scala)
Solid understanding of data modeling (e.g., Star Schema, Data Vault)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform is a plus
You work in an independent, structured, and proactive way
Experience in international projects is an advantage
Comfortable communicating with stakeholders in English
This is your role
Design and implement modern data architectures on Google Cloud Platform
Build and optimize scalable data pipelines (batch and streaming)
Develop and maintain data warehouse/lakehouse solutions using BigQuery
Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes
Ensure performance and cost optimization within the GCP environment
Define and implement data governance, security, and access frameworks
Collaborate and coordinate technically with international stakeholders
