Job description

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant qualification in any discipline
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Well-organised, meticulous, and able to multitask effectively while meeting deadlines
  • Register and update claim files and records
  • Verify policy coverage and manage claim documentation
  • Prepare claim correspondences, reminders, and settlement documents
  • Generate Preliminary Loss Advice (PLA) and claim adjustments
  • Appoint adjusters and panel solicitors; upload documents to Merimen
  • Coordinate court mentions, hearings, and legal follow-ups
  • Assess damages and prepare claim recommendations/write-ups
  • Approve mandates and payments within authority limits
  • Negotiate settlements with third-party solicitors and claimants
  • Monitor claim payments, reserves, and reserve adjustments
  • Ensure claims are handled in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
