Department: Water Transfer

Location: Carrollton, OH Description The Senior Managing Director is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and growth of Keystone Clearwater Solutions’ water transfer operations within a designated region. This role oversees all field operations including water supply, water transfer, maintenance, and construction activities. This position is accountable for personnel management, operational execution, customer relationships, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.

The Senior Managing

Director plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence, expanding market share, and ensuring all projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.

Responsibilities Lead and manage Managing Directors, Operations Managers, Field Supervisors, and field personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations

Oversee all water transfer and construction operations to ensure execution aligns with project scope, budget, and schedule

Monitor operational performance and escalate environmental, safety, or client-related issues to senior leadership

Develop, monitor, and manage regional budgets, operating costs, and labor utilization to meet financial targets

Maintain strong relationships with oil & gas operators to retain and grow business across existing and new accounts

Identify opportunities to increase market share and expand services within existing customer base

Ensure compliance with company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards

Lead workforce planning efforts including hiring forecasts, staffing levels, and succession planning

Develop and mentor leadership teams including Managing Directors and Operations Supervisors

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all operations

Coordinate with HR, HSE, Sales, and Accounting to support operational alignment and business objectives

Ensure accurate field ticketing and invoicing processes for timely and accurate billing

Manage vendor and supplier relationships to support cost-effective operations

Optimize labor, equipment, and material utilization to meet project budgets and maximize margins

Drive innovation through automation, process improvement, and operational efficiencies

Support executive leadership in strategic planning and regional growth initiatives Requirements Required

Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in water transfer, oil & gas services, or pipeline/construction operations

Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems including piping, valves, pumping systems, and water transfer design

Strong understanding of water filtration systems and field operations

Proven leadership experience managing large operational teams and multiple levels of supervision

Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets, and cost controls

Demonstrated business development and sales experience with ability to grow revenue and customer relationships

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)

OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification

Current Safeland certification

Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations

Ability to travel extensively

Valid driver’s license

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction, Business, or related field

Industry certifications in construction, engineering, or mechanical trades
