IT Services & Software Development Company is hiring a Software Testing Executive in Ballari. This is a full-time, entry-level role open to freshers and candidates with up to one year of experience.
About the role
You will join the quality assurance team and own a defined scope of work from day one. Training is on the job: you are paired with a senior colleague for the first few weeks, then take your own workload with review.
Key responsibilities
• Write and execute test cases against the agreed acceptance criteria.
• Log defects with clear reproduction steps and evidence.
• Run regression passes before each release.
• Maintain the test case repository and coverage sheet.
• Maintain accurate records so your work can be audited and handed over.
• Take part in daily stand-ups, planning and review sessions.
Tools and technologies you will use
Manual Testing, Test Cases, Bug Reporting, JIRA, SQL, Regression Testing, API Testing, Selenium Basics, Test Documentation, Attention to Detail — plus the internal systems the team uses day to day.
