Supply Chain & Distribution Specialist

<p>We are looking for a proactive and solutions-oriented professional to join our team as a Supply Chain & Distribution Specialist.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Select, onboard, and manage transporters; ensure adequate truck availability, optimize utilization, negotiate freight rates, and manage contingencies during transport disruptions.</li><li>Plan and execute daily PO dispatch schedules, ensure FIFO docking, align reverse pickups, and prevent dry-outs or suppressed sales through proactive planning.</li><li>Manage end-to-end logistics execution issues including loading, decantation, enroute delays, diversions, accidents, off-spec material, and quality & quantity discrepancies with timely escalation.</li><li>Monitor daily and monthly performance of logistics service providers, handle escalations, and drive continuous process and network improvements using logistics SaaS platforms.</li><li>Ensure compliance with statutory and safety norms, support accident and incident investigations, manage marine insurance and dispute closure, and handle EXIM-related logistics where applicable.</li><li>Coordinate with sales, terminals, transporters, and HO teams; ensure timely POD closure and publish accurate logistics MIS reports.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills Required:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>1 year - 3 Years of work experience in logistics, supply chain or distribution.</li><li>Patience and the ability to manage relationships with last-mile logistics partners.</li><li>Basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.</li><li>Strong active listening skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent email writing and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About Wellversed </strong></p><p>Wellversed owns and operates a portfolio of nutrition brands to empower people to attain their most optimal state of wellness.
