Virtual Medical Biller Needed — New York No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation Experience - Contract to Hire

We are a busy medical practice looking for a reliable virtual medical biller with direct experience in New York No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation billing.

The ideal candidate should already understand the workflow for NY No-Fault and WC claims, including claim submission, follow-up, denials, aging reports, payment posting, and persistent follow-up on unpaid or underpaid claims.

This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, consistent, honest, and proactive. We need a biller who does not just submit claims, but actively follows up until payment is received or the issue is clearly documented.

Responsibilities include:

• Submitting NY No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation bills

• Following up on unpaid claims

• Tracking small balances and older receivables

• Working denials and underpayments

• Maintaining clear billing notes

• Communicating regularly with our office manager

• Providing weekly status updates on outstanding claims

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior experience with New York No-Fault billing

• Prior experience with New York Workers’ Compensation billing

• Experience with orthopedic, pain management, physical therapy, or injury-related medical billing

• Strong written English

• Reliable internet connection

• Available during U.S. Eastern Time business hours
