The Role
The Customer Care Associate role is designed for individuals who want a meaningful remote career — not just a remote job. As a Customer Care Associate, you will own the full arc of customer interactions, from first contact through resolution, using JetBlue's support systems and service guidelines. You will work as part of a virtual team that stays connected through daily huddles, shared dashboards, and regular team lead support, so you always have backup when you need it.
What You'll Do
Take inbound calls from JetBlue passengers seeking assistance with bookings, travel credits, and TrueBlue accounts
Process reservation changes, upgrades, refund requests, and baggage fee inquiries
Handle complaints and service failures with empathy, turning negative experiences into positive outcomes
Support passengers with disabilities and special service requests in compliance with ADA and DOT guidelines
Coordinate internally with airport operations and baggage teams for time-sensitive passenger issues
Log every interaction accurately and flag escalation-worthy cases to senior care agents
Who You Are
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree is an advantage
1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in travel, hospitality, or retail
Empathetic communicator who can navigate emotional or stressful conversations with patience
Strong organizational skills — able to manage open cases and follow-up queues in parallel
Tech-comfortable: familiar with browser-based CRM tools and multi-tab workflows
Reliable home office with wired internet and a quiet environment for calls
