The Role

The Customer Care Associate role is designed for individuals who want a meaningful remote career — not just a remote job. As a Customer Care Associate, you will own the full arc of customer interactions, from first contact through resolution, using JetBlue's support systems and service guidelines. You will work as part of a virtual team that stays connected through daily huddles, shared dashboards, and regular team lead support, so you always have backup when you need it.

What You'll Do

  • Take inbound calls from JetBlue passengers seeking assistance with bookings, travel credits, and TrueBlue accounts
  • Process reservation changes, upgrades, refund requests, and baggage fee inquiries
  • Handle complaints and service failures with empathy, turning negative experiences into positive outcomes
  • Support passengers with disabilities and special service requests in compliance with ADA and DOT guidelines
  • Coordinate internally with airport operations and baggage teams for time-sensitive passenger issues
  • Log every interaction accurately and flag escalation-worthy cases to senior care agents

Who You Are

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree is an advantage
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in travel, hospitality, or retail
  • Empathetic communicator who can navigate emotional or stressful conversations with patience
  • Strong organizational skills — able to manage open cases and follow-up queues in parallel
  • Tech-comfortable: familiar with browser-based CRM tools and multi-tab workflows
  • Reliable home office with wired internet and a quiet environment for calls
