As an Audio/Video system Field Service Engineer with a focus on travel, you will be responsible for integrating and troubleshooting audiovisual systems at customer sites. This role requires hands-on experience in system integration, repair, and customer support.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration of audio/visual systems and display technologies
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site
  • Document all work in NetSuite CRM
  • Provide customer training as needed
  • Travel extensively to customer sites (90-95% of the time)

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Audio/Video system integration experience
  • Focus on DVLED, display cubes, troubleshooting, setup, and calibration
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware systems (displays, video walls, servers, AV equipment)
  • Experience working directly at customer sites

Technical Skills:

  • Preventive maintenance per vendor specifications
  • Troubleshooting hardware (servers, displays, AV components) and software/OS issues
  • Basic network connectivity troubleshooting
  • Ability to interpret display error codes and identify cable vs. display vs. configuration issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CTS certification
  • Network+ and/or Security+ certification
  • 1+ year of customer support or service experience
  • Experience with large-scale or enterprise display environments
