Position: Staff Nurse – Endoscopy

Location: Meditrina Hospital, Kollam, Kerala

Qualification:

  • GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
  • Valid Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC) Registration

Experience:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in Endoscopy or Gastroenterology.
  • Candidates with experience in a multispecialty hospital will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Gastroenterologists during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
  • Prepare patients for endoscopy, including pre-procedure assessment and monitoring.
  • Ensure proper handling, cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of endoscopic equipment.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-procedure nursing care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and patient safety guidelines.
  • Assist in managing emergencies and complications during endoscopic procedures.
